Summer Yoga and Mindfulness Retreat
This retreat combines yoga, mindfulness, creativity, and is designed to help you relax, stretch and detox. The weekend will rejuvenate your body, mind and soul, and revive you at many levels as a human being. Take a break from your busy life and join us for a wonderful weekend in the beautiful and peaceful countryside. The weekend will include four 90-minute yoga classes taught by yoga teacher, Sherin Shefik, who will mainly teach vinyasa flow yoga, but also combines lots of different styles of yoga into her teaching, (including yin, restorative, hatha, ashtanga, acro and partner yoga).The classes are suitable for all levels. Each class will be designed around one of four natural elements: earth (grounding), air (opening), fire (igniting) and water (letting go).There are numerous mindfulness meditations, practices and discussions, which will be led by mindfulness teachers Deborah Wharton and Shenel Shefik. There will be other diverse and exciting activities on the programme too, a poetry workshop (where you will get to try your hand at writing a poem), mindful dance (you might be given a blind-fold!), and a life coaching workshop. We have Scania, an excellent local practitioner of massage and reflexology and she can be booked in advance or on site for additional cost.
The variety and fullness of this programme means that there is something for everyone, whether you come alone or with your partner or friends/family. All sessions are, of course, optional so you can pick and choose as you flow through the weekend.
