Gaunts House

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came along to this year's Summer Gathering  and made it such a special and magical event.  We had a very successful Gathering, with over a thousand people attending over the four days.  Feedback has been really positive people describing it as "the best ever", "the most peaceful", and other such complimentary comments.  If you didn't get a chance to give your feedback and would like to, please do not hesitate to send us an email.  It will help us to ensure that next year's Gathering is even more wonderful!

The Gathering would not have been possible without the energy, enthusiasm, love and support of the 100 or so volunteers; from those who arrived a week before the Gathering to help with the setting up and to be part of the community, to those who were only able to be here for the days of the Gathering.  All made a huge contribution which was noticeable to all who attended.  We hope that many volunteers will wish to come back next year too.

The dates for next year's Gathering are 11th - 15th August 2011.  We look forward to seeing you.

To celebrate 20 years of Summer Gatherings, we are asking everybody to come together to stitch a heart, which will be stitched onto a wallhanging.  We hope that everybody will contribute a small message of hope, love, peace, or whatever feels appropriate to you.  If you have never stitched before, guidance will be at hand.  It would be nice if everybody could bring something personal e.g. a small scrap of fabric, beads, lace, buttons etc to incorporate into your own personal heart, but if you don't manage to find anything, there will be plenty here to share.  The materials used will all be recycled.  This will be a FUN project, and we hope everyone will take part to create a beautiful representation of Summer Gatherings at Gaunts House over the years.
