Celebrate The Advent Of Spring/May Day/Beltaine with us! 
A Gentle and Friendly Three-Day Family Event, Bank Holiday Weekend.

An all-day festival of entertainment and music, dancing around the maypole, walks in the gardens and enchanting bluebell woods, talks, mini-workshops, children’s activities including storytelling, soothing complementary therapies, cream teas  and delicious vegetarian food.  Special Spring Festival accommodation rates! Camping.

Come to Gaunts, whether it be for the day or to stay for the three days over the Bank-Holiday, and celebrate Mayday/Beltaine with us. bluebells_a.jpg There will be live music throughout the day. All the activities will take place within Gaunts House, (except for the nature walks and tours around the Victorian Walled Garden), so whether it be rain or shine, the opportunity of being at Gaunts House in the Spring is a treat not to be missed!

PROGRAMME:
Gaunts house will be open from 10.00 am each day, with the festival closing at 6.00 pm on Monday 5th May. 
Refreshments are available during the day, with lunch being served at 1.00 pm, cream teas at 3.00 pm and supper at 6.30 pm. 

ENTRANCE:
£5.00 daily for adults. Children free.  £3 per workshop, and and separate charge for evening events, see below. We regret that no dogs are allowed. The courtyard shop will be open for an array of crafts but this year we are not having other craft stalls.    

sri_datta_b.jpg Accommodation is available for two or more nights in the main house or stable block at the special Spring Festival rate of £25 per person per night for twin room, single room £30 per night. Camping is available in our  campsite with shower facilities: £10 per person per night.

    Friday Night  3rd May, from 7.30 pm:
    Gather Around in The Old Hall for Chats and Sing Songs. For those staying the weekend.
  • Daytime on Saturday, Sunday & Monday:
    Occasional assortment of live music throughout the day:  by Julie Schatzberger, Kate Carpenter & Friends, Sandy & Roger, etc.

Concert In The Ballroom with Singer Songwriter Julie Schatzberger & Storyteller Pete Gritton.  £5.00.
Pete Gritton tells stories of dragons, smugglers and snakecatchers from Dorset and the New Forest, as well as Viking stories of the Norselands, trolls and great white bears, and Native American stories, sometimes accompanied by bagpipe, willow flute, African drums or song.    

Sunday 8.30 pm: 

Ancient Ambient Chill Out With Peter Knight (www.stoneseeker.net/#Chillout), £4.
